Barbara, my wife, forwarded this email to me last night. It seems to be all over the internet. 35 Trends that say Kerry will Take the White House in November. Keep on working toward the goal and we can beat Bush.

The polls are still up and down. Bush today, Kerry tomorrow. But the poll I like the best, the Electoral Vote Predictor 2004, has Kerry just barely eking out a victory today, 271 to 257.

Robert Scheer reports that after 17 months of investigation, the CIA inspector general's office issued an exhaustive report which actually assigned blame among high officials for the failures of 9/11.

You can easily send an email to urge President Bush to immediately release the CIA Inspector General's 9/11 report.

This editorial appeared in the New York Times yesterday. Imagining America if George Bush Chose the Supreme Court .
"...he did say in his last campaign that his favorite Supreme Court justices were Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas."

There are only 14 days left before the election. Send money, and do whatever work is humanly possible for you to do, to see that we beat Bush.

Most of us don't believe that Bush has any concept of reality; we know that many of his decisions are based on his faith. There is an interesting article by Ron Suskind in today's New York Times Magazine, Without A Doubt, that goes into detail concerning Bush's instincts. He quotes Bruce Bartlett, a 53-year-old columnist and self-described libertarian Republican who has lately been a champion for traditional Republicans concerned about Bush's governance. . .: ''This is why George W. Bush is so clear-eyed about Al Qaeda and the Islamic fundamentalist enemy. He believes you have to kill them all. They can't be persuaded, that they're extremists, driven by a dark vision. He understands them, because he's just like them. . . ."

The presidential election is very close. The Republicans are probably going to pull every dirty trick in the book. Please put your time and money into defeating Bush. Read Norman Solomon's article, Preview of the Bush Campaign's Media Endgame for an analysis of what some of those tricks are.
